Overview:
A WordPress Developer is responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
Roles and Responsiblities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring best coding practices.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and deployment processes.
- Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and business requirements.
Required Skills:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js
- Backend: Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, .NET
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Performance & Security: Web optimization, authentication, security best practices
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, leadership, communication, teamwork
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web applications and projects.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (optional but preferred).
